Review: Crescendo

Review: Crescendo.
Genre: Young Adult.
Author: Becca Fitzpatrick.
Publishers: Simon and Schuster.

Summary: Nora Grey's life is still far from perfect. Surviving an attempt on her life wasn't pleasant, but at least she got a guardian angel out of it: a mysterious, magnetic, gorgeous guardian angel. But, despite his role in her life, Patch has been acting anything but angelic. He's more elusive than ever and even worse, he's started spending time with Nora's arch-enemy, Marcie Millar. Nora would have hardly noticed Scott Parnell, an old family friend who has moved back to town, if Patch hadnt been acting so distant. Even with Scott's totally infuriating attitude Nora finds herself drawn to him - despite her lingering feeling that he's hiding something. Haunted by images of her murdered father, and questioning whether her nephilim bloodline has anything to do with his death, Nora puts herself increasingly in dangerous situations as she desperately searches for answers. But maybe some things are better left buried, because the truth could destroy everything - and everyone - she trusts.

Review: First of all wow. Just wow. I had read reviews about this book before I had started it...just because I was so eager after reading Hush Hush. But by the time I ordered this I never got around to actually reading it straight away, because people had said that they thought the second book wasnt as good. Well I will honestly say now I disagree with all of their reviews because this book was fantastic just as good as Hush Hush if not better! I wish I had read it sooner. This book picks up straight after the first one. So we see Nora and Patch as a couple (well for a while) But of course just like Hush Hush it picks up straight away and they cant be together and so many twists and turns happen as soon as you start to read each page. It was so thrilling to not have a clue about some of the things going on in the book and then being surprised when you found out the twist. We get to find out more about Marcie (Noras enemy) and a new character called Scott is introduced aswell. I didnt take to liking him so well at first but again as I said this book has alot of plots going on that by the end I didnt think he was too bad. There was also Vee her bestfriend who Im still not sure if I like or not. I probably liked her more then in the first book because she made me laugh in this one. And of course there is the chemistry between Patch and Nora. I just love this couple and even when their not a couple you can just tell that they have so much attention building up and how protective Patch actually is over her. I want spoil the fun if you havent read it but all I'm saying is this book is sure to make you excited for the next one. Becca Fitzpatrick deffinetly left us a cliff hanger here.
